Amato comes from the south coast village of LeFaga and works at the Return to Paradise Spa and Resort to help support his studies and his family.
Unlike most young students, Amato has a laptop of his own – not surprising given he is studying towards a Computer Science degree. The Cisco Academy supports the National University of Samoa Computer Science degree which means, in addition to his qualification, Amato will receive Cisco certification.
Amato’s dream is to be an IT professional.
“I would like to be the IT person for Return to Paradise – they always have to get people to come to the resort to help them with IT”, said Amato.
